If you believe you see something wrong during your court hearing, or court case, then you should object (verbally and in writing, if you can).  If you object in writing then ,your objection will be on the record in writing.  When you OBJECT then you preserve your right on appeal.  If you don't object, you generally will not be able to raise the issue on appeal.
